Appreciating our Healthcare Heroes
Throughout the country and the world, the COVID-19 pandemic has reminded us how critical healthcare professionals are in our communities and in our lives. Clinical professionals across all fields have made tremendous sacrifices during a time of uncertainty, staff shortages and long, demanding shifts.
We were honored to present journal gifts to 385 team members at NCH Healthcare System who have been serving on the COVID units at both the Baker Downtown campus and NCH North in Naples, Florida. Thank you to the healthcare heroes in Southwest Florida and beyond for your service and dedication each and every day!

Shelter for Abused
Women and Children - Naples, Florida
We had so much fun dropping off 120 journal gifts to the Shelter for Abused Women and Children in Naples, Florida for Valentine's Day! Each and every resident of the two shelter facilities and the transitional living homes received our "Love YOU" journal to remind them of their value, worth and lovability.
The gift also included a battery-operated candle with a "Shine Your Light" card, a Purpose Journal pen, and journal prompts to encourage the cultivation of self-love. We are also facilitating a virtual workshop sharing the benefits and principles of a regular journaling practice, using "self-love" as our theme. I want to thank Shena and Karen - two of the amazing leaders at the Shelter - for their partnership on this Journal for Change™ Initiative!

Youth Leadership Collier
We were so excited to donate journals to the Youth Leadership Collier Class of 2021! Youth Leadership Collier is one of the many fantastic leadership programs created and facilitated by the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. This particular workshop was facilitated by our good friend Jennifer Trammel who provided vital insights and encouragement to the more than 30 high school students as they prepare for the next phase of their lives. Best wishes to all of these remarkable young leaders!
